This duvet cover is attractive, and is made of good-quality, comfortable cotton. The only problem is that it is significantly bigger than a king-sized comforter. I think maybe the manufacturer made one size to fit both standard and California king quilts; the cover is the right width for my king quilt but it's far too long. This makes it difficult to get the quilt placed into the cover properly; once I manage that I just tuck the excess under the end of the bed.Because of the size, the cover opens on the side instead of the bottom. That's not a big problem for me, but might be for some people. This may only be true for the king size cover.The corner ties are made of flimsy material and one has fallen off already.Love this fabric's thick tight weave! It should last for decades.Oops, I washed it before use on 'permanent press' instead of 'delicate' per instructions. So more wrinkling occurred. It will be come out smoother when I follow directions. I had the matching pillow cases for several months before purchasing this duvet.The comforter inside is white Jersey knit with a bright kids animal print. It doesn't show through! The inside comforter corner loops did keep it in place during insertion and floofing.Love the design/pattern and the weight/feel of the fabric.We purchased a lightweight duvet insert which fit perfectly. Strange that the button closures were on the side and not the bottom, but it’s not at all noticeable. Shams are large and will require 20x36 insert. Very soft and lightweight. I love it!This duvet and shams are beautiful. I did not expect such luxury. I am thrilled. The print was only on one side, I would’ve enjoyed it on both. But I’m delighted I have it.The item I received is definitely not what was described. I ordered this duvet set for $89 claiming to be 1000 thread count silky smooth Egyptian cotton. What I received (IN AN UNMARKED PAGKAGE (see photo) was AT BEST a 200 thread count, cheaply made material that was stiff, scratchy and definitely not soft. And it was supposed to be brand new, it looks like it was re-packed in an old re-used sheet set bag. Who's to say what I received? This product obviously came in form a distributer in China who is advertising a higher end product using the product photos from a different website online. When I researched the company further, then I realized they are in fact a company from Nova Scotia listed a s a JEWELRY company....Do better Amazon at screening your vendors/sellers.Beautiful product. I looked at many and did read many reviews before purchasing. Definitely NOT disappointed.Duvet cover slips and slides over the blanket/duvet. Tried other bed covers- same results. Ultimately, had to safety-pin blanket/duvet to top and bottom of the cover. Love the pattern so am keeping the cover but am not happy about the work I had to add to the cost.I found that the queen size was not Wide enough for our higher mattress/box spring so ordered the king size... and now have to Somehow downsize the pillow shams and the duvet cover To properly fit the queen bed...The color combination and pattern is lovely and the fabric quality is amazing! It is well made and well worth the adjustments I need to make to accommodate my bed. Beautiful set. Goes very well with sage green walls and red poppy pictures!!The quality of this set was great. It feels like the thread count described. Very silky to touch. Not after washing though but all high thread counts are like that. Recommend hang drying first then throw in dryer. We've had it on our bed for several months now and it has held up great. We have a small dog who likes to "rapidly dig his way to the comfy spot" - no signs of wear and tear from him! The color is pretty much what you see in the picture - maybe a little on the yellow'er side but i am good with that. I paired it with 2 rust/coral colored pillow cases - same color as the paisley accent colors and a gold decorative pillow.OMG, I was so looking forward to receiving this duvet cover and pillow shams. I received it today and it has surpassed my expectations on both textile quality and beauty of the design and color. Hope it reacts well to being run through the washer and dryer!Only downside was the wait from placing the order to receiving it - 3 to 4 weeks. Yes, I am too used to "instant pudding" - i.e. delivery within a day to 7 day timeframe.I am so completely impressed with this product ! The fabric is very high quality strong and wrinkle free. After a night of sleeping looks perfect! I have never even in the stores found such a quality duvet for this price ! The colours are strong and the print is beautiful. I can tell the printing of this textile was top notch . The only thing I would say is that in the online photo the colours are looking a little pink in hues when in actuality this duvet is Terra cotta and warm tan hues with blue grey .
