Definitely not worth the money. Started falling apart the first time I washed it. I should have re ordered the one I already have that I got 4 years ago that is just now starting to fall apart. Sending back.Fairly lightweight. Feels comfortable to sleep under. Might be a bit too heavy for Summer in the South and for me. Will adjust as needed. Pretty colors. Like has print on both sides.If you like the looks buy it! It's beautiful and not thick like a comforter! I LOVE IT! Soft, warm(but breathable) beautiful, doesn't seem to pick up stains (we have a lab who like to sneak on to the bed at night) very happy with this! Oh and make sure you have actual king size pillows because for once the pillowcases that come with the king set are for a king sized pillow ?It's for decorating purposes only. It's not an everyday use quilt set. I bought it because it matched my 'Madison park's queen comforter set. My comfort got old, so discarded it but kept the pillows. I found the same bird on tree design for half price on this quilt set and decided to use it with an existing blanket I gave. All together it looks good and this is what I had in mind. But I carefully fold the quilt at night, so I don't have to wash it often. It won't last more than few washes if you wash it. Just use it for guest or any other bedroom for decor only. If you want this style in excellent quality, I recommend getting Madison park quilt set.The quality is nice for the price, however....the smell ! This has obviously been in a shipping container for too long! I finally got around to putting it on my bed a couple of months ago but after I washed it just one time (following the instructions) the color was seriously faded. After a second washing one of the shams lost all color, you can barely see any details and it tore at the seams. I like how this looks and if it was in a guest bedroom where I wouldn't be washing the linen as much, I think it would work out fine.This quilt is really pretty....not as vibrant as the picture but still lovely and feminine looking...there are yellow leaves running through which gives some nice contrast....the cotton, feel is very soft cotton and will be awesome during the warm summer months. Since it is still only May and can be quite chilly in Ontario so have layered it with flannel sheets and a light blue fleece throw....I have a queen bed and bought a queen size quilt and because I have a lower Ikea bed it is perfect, but if you have a higher bed I would suggest getting a king for a queen.Received in five days! It’s a perfect summer weight coverlet. I ordered queen size for my double bed as I wanted it to fit like a bedspread. The scalloped border gives the quilt a sophisticated look. The pillow shams are a bit big for my pillows but still look great.It arrived ready to use with very few creases. The one disappointing thing is that the zippered bag it came in was badly torn which means I won’t be able to use it for storage in the off season.I feel it is good value for the money and am thinking about ordering a second in another colour/pattern.My wife loves this bedding set. The comforter is not too heavy or thick, which we like ... however during the cold winter months we usually put an extra blanket or electric blanket under the comforter because it's not warm enough by itself.This was our first King Size bedding and the pillow shams looked huge when we took them out of the bag. After the bed was made everything looked fine and in proportion.For $62 we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend it. Just remember the comforter is not very thick, more like a quilt than comforter.When I sleep I need to feel "tucked in " and this quilt/coverlet is the perfect weight.I've never had a cover that says washable where I didn't feel I had to hold my breath. Over the summer this has been laundered and tossed in the dryer probably 4 or 5 times and a flick of the wrists right at bedtime and the outdoors is ready to soothe me to sleep. With the pup. Hence 4 to 5 times. she's just so fussy!EXTREMELY easy-care, pleasant colours, hardly noticeable which suits me fine as my decorating a room starts with paint colour. if you're still reading you're supposed to decorate a bedroom picking a colour from your quilt first.Highly recommended for ease of care.This bedspread is soft and inviting. It's light enough to put over our heavy winter down duvet without feeling too constricting. The pattern birds and leaves on the light background is bright and informal. The only disappointment is the lovely scalloped edge is wasted without any contrast to show it off. This is due to the top and bottom of the spread being identical - if the backside were strong colour or different pattern the scallop would be a feature with the bed turned out, however, now it's not even noticeable. I've still given the spread a 5/5 because it is a great value for the price. The fabric and construction of sturdy and I anticipate it will get even better as it is washed and aged.
