Exactly what I was looking for. I prefer blankets for my bed that are more lightweight so I don't get too hot, but still keep me feeling cozy. I've had this quilt for a month now and have washed it a few times. No rips or tears, and stains seem to come out very easily. The colors are beautiful, the quilt is soft and it’s a great aesthetic. Looks a lot more expensive than it is. Highly recommend for the spring and summer months, as it’s lightweight but still has a good amount of substance to keep you warm if you have a fan or AC going.I wanted to replace my duvet with an easily washable blanket to help with my allergies, and this blanket is perfect. More of a very thin blanket with synthetic down in it so it was still too hot for summer. I’m very Sad as I can’t return it now.Okay, so we don't use the shams - we just wanted a simple soft cotton cover for the bed. to protect it when we sort dirty laundry, tidy the closets and use our bed as a substitute table. (Apartment dwellers). We ordered this set just on the basis of price and the value exceeded our expectation. The longer it's used the softer it gets.
